The Mahindra XUV 3XO has reached an important milestone in South Africa. During February 2026, the brand officially delivered its 10 000th Mahindra XUV 3XO to a local customer. This achievement represents the fastest sales milestone ever reached by a vehicle in the Mahindra South Africa portfolio.
Introduced to the local market in October 2024, the Mahindra XUV 3XO quickly attracted attention in the competitive compact SUV segment. The model required just over 500 days to reach 10 000 sales, highlighting strong consumer demand and growing brand confidence in the country.
Strong Focus on Safety and Engineering
Safety has been a central focus of the Mahindra XUV 3XO since launch. Every model in the range includes six airbags, automatic stability control, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and three-point seatbelts for every occupant. In addition, all variants are equipped with ABS-assisted disc brakes on all four wheels.
The structure of the Mahindra XUV 3XO also plays a critical role in occupant protection. The vehicle uses high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel throughout its body and frame. Notably, ultra-high-strength steel accounts for approximately 45 percent of the structure. As a result, the cabin can absorb a frontal impact of up to 20 tons despite the vehicle being under four metres in length.

In addition, selected versions of the Mahindra XUV 3XO feature the largest panoramic sunroof in its class, known as the Mahindra Skyroof, as well as a premium nine-channel Harman Kardon sound system.
The cabin also provides practical convenience through 65-watt fast charging that supports smartphones and laptops. Furthermore, advanced level 2 Automotive Driver Assistance Systems enhance driver safety and confidence on the road.
