Centurion, 27 February 2024: Mahindra South Africa (MSA) has announced the appointment of automotive industry veteran Arnold Reddy to its management team.
Reddy will assume the role of Head of Logistics. He will be responsible for managing a rapidly growing division. This division handles not only the import of Mahindra vehicles but also the supply of parts and components to the Mahindra Assembly Facility in Durban. Additionally, Reddy’s team will manage the distribution of fully assembled Pik Up models.
Under his leadership, the logistics department will also oversee Mahindra South Africa’s new parts distribution warehouse. This facility has exceeded both national and international standards for parts availability and distribution.
Before joining Mahindra, Reddy held several logistics roles at Michelin, Nissan, and Toyota Tsusho. He holds an MBA and an honours degree in Supply Chain Management.
“Arnold joins us at an exciting time as we transition into a truly regional player with an assembly base in South Africa. His deep knowledge of the South African logistics industry will serve Mahindra well in this new role,” says Rajesh Gupta, CEO of Mahindra South Africa.
Reddy joins a young senior management team, all of whom have come from senior positions at other global brands.
